Marian Anderson's Breeder reflects on Marian:
"It's funny to hear you say "What about Marian" , as this was the phrase we said over and over from the time she was born. Right from the start, this little girl seemed to know what she wanted and where she was going and exactly how to portray both. There was a balance that she had from the start.....never has had a time of her life without it.
Her coat was short and flat from the start and once out and about, Marian liked to stretch out in a certain pose..leg extended, head at a 3/4 angle and pose.....being admired seemed to be her objective. Marian liked people more than the other kittens.....carried on conversation after conversation with them.
She was born 1/11 and aged out as a kitten in Washington, DC on her sire's birthday, 9/11. She did so as her namesake did......a first in the nation's capital (National Capital show).
Now she's produced two National Winners in one season, each with a different sire."
